Justin “Fustin” Johnson is a music producer from Dallas, based in Nashville. Justin’s production on “Just About Over You” by breakout sensation Priscilla Block earned him a #1 debut on the all genre iTunes chart and made him the youngest producer on terrestrial country radio, where the song peaked at #14 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart). In addition to working on Block’s upcoming releases Justin develops a variety of talent including Nashville favorite Theo Kandel (frequently supported by Lightning 100, 1.2M streams on Spotify in 2020), psych-rock singer Kitty Coen, Vine-star turned R&B artist Nick Hall, dark pop princess Stef, and many others in Nashville, Austin, and LA.
After playing in bands and DJing nightclubs around the country throughout his youth, the native Texan shifted his focus to the studio, studying at the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin (where he worked with Martie Maguire, TribalTech drummer Kirk Covington, David Lee, and others). Drawing on his diverse musical background, Justin brings a unique sense of freshness and eclecticism to every project. He works tirelessly to innovate new sounds and directions, always pushing his forward-thinking production aesthetic.
Recent releases include “I Bet You Wanna Know” by Priscilla Block, “Fade” & “Wave Side” by Kitty Coen, and “ThreeTwoOne” & “Immaculate Vibes” by Nick Hall, and that’s since the year began.
